Castlemartyr Resort offers luxury AA 5 Star accommodation within easy reach of Cork Airport and is on the doorstep of Cork City.
The 18th Century Classic Manor House lies adjacent to the ruins of an 800 year old castle originally built by The Knights Templar under Richard Earl de Clare, known as Strongbow. The Resort is nestled in 220 acres of mature landscape, with meandering streams, parklands and a tranquil lake that is abundant with wildlife and gardens that include a reconstruction of the historical, classical parterre beds.
Each of our 103 Bedrooms and Suites (11 in The Manor House and 92 in the new wing) are individually appointed with the finest in interior design and comfort. Many of The Manor House Suites have sweeping views of the 18th century parkland and lakes.
The Bedrooms & Suites, located in the new wing, have a luxurious, contemporary feel and host all the facilities for today's guest.
The hotel offers four dining options: The Bell Tower Restaurant serving modern Irish cuisine with a twist, Franchini's our casual Italian eatery, the relaxed yet elegant Knights' Bar, and our contemporary Club House, The Pod.
Castlemartyr Resort offers the best of today's sporting, leisure and entertaining facilities. There is a myriad of possibilities for outdoor pursuits and activities including, archery, croquet on the lawn, clay pigeon shooting, or a game of hurling. Guests can also choose to take a stroll around the beautiful formal gardens or a walk through the adjacent Castlemartyr Wood. All guests enjoy complimentary use of the Health Club, offering a state of-the-art gymnasium with fitness studio hosting up to 20 classes a week.
Our 9 Treatment Room Spa overlooking the formal gardens offers rest and rejuvenation. The Spa & Health Club offers relaxation rooms, vitality lounges, heated indoor pool, steam room, sauna and jet pool.
Golfers will enjoy our 18-hole Ron Kirby designed inland-links style golf course.

Pet Policy
- Guests are permitted to have a max of 2 pets in any room at any given time.
- A gift for your pup, a doggy bed, and a map of nearby woods and beaches for pet-friendly strolls are provided
- The maximum size of pet allowed is that of the size of a standard Labrador.
- All pets should be well-trained, well-mannered, and disease-free with all standard IRL vaccinations.
- Dogs cannot be left alone in any room at any time (A pet sitting service is available at an extra charge, please ask the reservations team for more information).
- Pets are not permitted in any food or beverage area, with the exception of hearing and guide dogs
- Castlemartyr Resort are not responsible in any way for your pet and should not be asked to supervise, feed, or walk your pet.
- Guests are asked to pick up any deposits left by the pet immediately.
- Pets should be kept on a leash when in public areas
- Additional fees apply in the Orchard Residences of €20 per dog per night.
- The hotel offers dog-friendly accommodation in the Garden Deluxe Rooms on the ground floor, each featuring a private garden
